Which Wood Gazebo Railing Would You Rather Have?

If a  picture really does say a thousand words, how about 6 pictures comparing an overpriced inferior wood gazebo sitting right in front of a competitive builder’s facility?

Below, you’ll see clearly how one builder with the fanciest high dollar marketing materials money can buy makes their product.  They’re about 30 minutes away from us.  Please come up and take a look. Our product and our prices speak for themselves.  If you can’t come take a look because you live too far away, we have plenty more pictures.  My Mom told me “You get what you pay for.” and life experience tells us that’s usually true….but like any rules for living, there are sometimes exceptions.

Important things to consider when purchasing a wood gazebo:

Solid 4″ x 4″ gazebo posts typically split as they continue to dry.  This may be fine for your fence posts, but for a top quality gazebo, it’s better to have 3-piece laminated posts.  Not only do they work better, but they’re very pretty – a similar effect as hardwood floors.

2″ x 3″ railings are adequate, but most builders have some other kind of support than just a top and bottom piece.  We use two 2″ x 4″‘s on the top and one on the bottom with 2 of them being beveled at 22 1/2 degrees to hold the balusters in place.  We are the only gazebo builders that use this technique making our wood gazebos that toughest and most beautiful in the business.  This 3-piece design is not only extremely strong, but it provides a clean appearance, and doesn’t give a place for dirt/leaves to collect.

Price – Our price on a comparably equipped 12 foot gazebo is less than this overpriced competitor’s 10 foot model kit.  We can ship this kit as shown 400 miles for $5,121.  A 10′ model with the same options would be $3,869.  And guess what? The competitor charges another $725 for wood finish making their price $6,040.  $6,040 vs $3,869.  That’s a 56% difference.  And that’s our list price!

This is just one competitor.  There’s no doubt you can find a cheaper gazebo than Amish Designers, but we provide what many believe is an ideal combination of quality and value.  If you don’t end up buying from us, at least use our site as a guide to help you get the best beauty and durability for your money.

What if you’re in Montana or California?  It’s going to cost you more of course than if you live in Bel Air Maryland 45 minutes away from our plant.  But we’ll definitely be able to get you your 10 gazebo kit for less than $6,040 and it will be a far superior product.  You just won’t be able to tell your friends you have the same gazebo as Dolly Parton.  Our Amish Artisans are incredibly efficient making it possible for us to make a great product with low labor costs.
